K-MAG — High-Intensity Automatic Inline Separator
The K-MAG is K Factor's high-intensity automatic inline magnetic separator designed for coolant and process fluid circuits where ferrous particle removal is required continuously and automatically with smart purge management. The K-MAG's unique internal flow path modifies flow velocity to maximise contact time between the fluid and the magnetic field — achieving capture rates 80% better than conventional magnetic separators of equivalent size and field strength.
When an established quantity of ferrous debris has been captured on the magnetic tubes, an automatic purge is initiated. During purging, dirty fluid is diverted from the clean outlet, the magnetic force is removed from the tubes, and 100% of the captured solids are discharged rapidly into the optional Smart Drum. The Smart Drum's magnetic pull then draws the purged ferrous debris onto the Black Belt conveyor for transport to the collection area — completing a fully automatic capture-and-removal cycle with no operator involvement.
