Compact Media Filter (CMF) — Single-Machine Self-Cleaning Filtration
All the performance of the Standard KFF in a footprint that fits beside one machine. Up to 60 GPM. Filtration to 1 micron. No more per-shift bag changes.

What It Is
Compact-footprint automatic media filter for individual machines or low-flow applications up to 60 GPM. Eliminates per-machine cartridge and bag costs for lathes, machining centres, honing, and parts washers — without the cost or complexity of a central filtration system.
Who It's For
Job shops and production cells where a central system isn't justified but per-machine bag and cartridge filter spend has become a recurring P.O. line item — and the labour to swap them is interrupting cycle time.

How the CMF Works
Four automatic stages, repeated indefinitely, with zero operator intervention.
Inlet diffuser distributes fluid
Coolant or wash fluid from the machine sump enters the housing through a top header that spreads flow uniformly across the media — no channeling, no media bypass.
Gravity flow & cake build
Fluid passes through the non-woven media bed by gravity. Solids accumulate as a filter cake, capturing progressively finer particles as the cycle continues.
Float senses saturation
When the cake restricts flow and fluid level rises, a mechanical float trips the indexing motor. No PLC, no operator, no wear-prone sensors.
Media advances automatically
The motor indexes fresh media into position by a metered increment. Spent media drops to the sludge bin. Filtration resumes immediately — no interruption to the machine.

Why CMF Over Cartridge or Bag
Fits beside one machine
No central system, no plumbing campaign. The CMF installs in the cell — typically in under a day — and serves a single sump.
Self-cleaning automation
Float-activated indexing runs 24/7 unattended. The operator stops swapping bags every shift.
Eliminates per-machine cartridges
One CMF replaces a recurring cartridge or bag P.O. for the life of the machine. Roll media lasts 5–10× longer.
Not sure if the CMF will work on your machine?
Run it on your actual sump for 30 days. We commission on-site, you measure the results, and if it doesn't justify the investment we take it back. No invoice. No obligation.
