    What It Is

Float-activated, gravity-fed automatic media filter for medium-to-high flow industrial process liquids. The self-cleaning indexing mechanism advances fresh media only on demand — no operator input, no production stops, no disposable cartridges.

    Who It's For

Production facilities running central coolant systems, paint pretreatment lines, parts washers, or process water loops where cartridge and bag filter costs — and the labour to swap them — have become the dominant operating expense.

    How the Standard KFF Works

Four automatic stages, repeated indefinitely, with zero operator intervention.

Paper Bed Gravity FilterINLET HEADERSludgeFloatCLEAN OUT
    01

    Inlet diffuser distributes fluid

Contaminated process liquid enters the housing through a top header that spreads flow across the full media width — eliminating channeling and ensuring uniform cake formation.

    02

    Gravity flow & cake build

Fluid passes through the non-woven media bed by gravity. Solids accumulate as a filter cake on top, progressively capturing finer particles as the cycle continues.

    03

    Float senses saturation

As cake thickens, the fluid level above the bed rises. A mechanical float switch trips at the preset point — no operator monitoring, no PLC, no calibration drift.

    04

    Media advances automatically

The drive motor indexes the roll forward by a metered increment. Spent media exits to the sludge zone; fresh media is in position before flow drops.

Why Standard KFF Over Cartridge or Bag

    No disposable media

Continuous roll media — no cartridges, no bags, no per-shift swaps. Eliminates a recurring P.O. line item.

    Self-cleaning automation

Float-activated indexing runs 24/7 unattended. Operators are freed for higher-value work.

    Lower lifetime cost

Roll media lasts 5–10× longer than equivalent cartridge throughput. Disposal volume drops accordingly.
